1987 Shelby CSX #115

Cars runs, engine sounds good, no trans noise when moving car. FI is angry though, bad map sensor I think. Car was being restored when owner passed away and was up on stands for 4-5 years, was repainted. Passenger rocker cut out, comes with new rocker. Was going to turn it into a drag car to do some developmental work for the Reliant but will just take time from the other 3 cars waiting work in the garage.

Has 2 piece intake, Shelby valve cover, nice grill, good windshield and dash, 4 correct rims (the CSX-T rims on the back not included) and surprising good condition body wise. Missing front seats, headliner, rear rotors and calipers and intercooler setup. If you have a rotted car this would be an excellent starting point. Some spare parts in trunk; springs, dash cluster, rotors, power module, pressure plate and some other odds and ends. Rocker covers, lower dash and console in trunk.

No number badge, sorry were missing when I picked car up. MA title.

Doing a quick search on the 'net, this thing changed hands a number of times. 11 page thread over on GRM site, looks like former owner did floorpans and other work to bring it back.

I may consider doing something with it, have to give it a bit more thought if no interest. Figured with a good chunk of the Shelby parts there some interest but maybe not anymore.

Ha, this was my old car! I bought it from a guy on GRM back around 2010. When I got it, the car was a mess; someone repainted it terribly, the interior was trashed, it didn't run, the floors were missing due to serious rust issues, the rockers were skeletal at best, and a lot more. I did the floors and got it running, but I had to get out of it to focus on other projects. Number plaque was already gone by the time I got it, but it is #115. The guy I sold it to was an old school Turbo Mopar guy, and passed away suddenly a while back. I lost track of the car, so I'm glad it ended up with another enthusiast that knows what it is.

I really hope someone gives this thing another chance and gets it back on the road!

Seeing the times it has changed hands I'm tempted to get it back together fully but that is tempered with the knowledge few would pay little more than what it is currently listed at. I did save it from being crushed by the former owners widow and would be nice to see it back on road, lot of good there.
