That Rabbit looks neat. It would be interesting to see someone make one up to fit an Omni
the ones for the omni are not as long as that one if you want one i think i can still get some like 50.00 + shipping
After reading his post on TD he is looking for pictures of Mark Skelton's Omni. I have some on here that I need to dig up and then I'll post 'em.
And the ghost of the Purple Omni RETURNS......
I just want to see a picture of what the heck you guys are talking about!

I'm guessing he might be looking for the rear DC spoiler that is shown on the old DC catalogs and possibly the "how to autocross an omni" brocure.
Just a guess, though. I want one too if that's what he's looking for. I think they're cool looking. Billy, you don't have one do ya?
There is an Omni GLH in winchester virginia with the DC rear spoiler that runs accross the back deck below the window. I had a picture but I lost it. Some Mexican fellow has it.
Are you talking about this one:
Thats from the SDML Readers Rides page, and is Scott Forgie's "Omnivore" http://www.joink.com/homes/users/coo...y/sforgie.html

I wasn't talking about that one and from the way turbomni08 described it, I don't think he was either. If I remember correctly it looked kind of like "bushwacker" fender flares do, with the bevel or groove for the bolts to go into the body. It also curved around the key hole for the hatch.
man you guys are really going to have to find me a picture!!!!!!!

Yeah, that sounds like the Direct Connection piece. If somebody can come up with a part number, I'm pretty sure I remember Mitchell Motors having one. The only reason I didn't buy it though, is because they ask for an arm, a leg, and your first born child for any part that they have. Unfortunately, I haven't had any children yet
are you guys talking about a 'whale tail' spoiler that goes on the bottom of the rear hatch??

Whale tail spoilers were offered for the 2-door L-bodies.
Duckbill spoilers were offered from DC for the 4-door models. This is a non-chalant plain jane spoiler that attaches to the hatch underneath the window glass (covering the area where decals are located on the hatch). Unfortunately I do not have one of these, but do hope to get one someday if I can locate it.
Meanwhile, that spoiler on that purple Omni does not look factory to me. I believe that is a Lancer Shelby spoiler?
From what I remember, Skelton slapped a Shelby Charger spoiler on his Omni and made it work. From the way this thread was started I thought you meant a spoiler that bolted underneath the front end (like a splash guard of sorts.
