Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
Correct, I like facts over guesstimates.
By the way, your car is pissing me off. It shows what I could have if I didn't take the easy way out going back to my roots of turbododges. With my shadow almost done, I've started moving on towards my neon. To bad I have to many ideas and not enough money. |

too many ideas and not enough money is a chronological kinda thing.. first you have too many ideas.. then you have not enough money after you buy more stuff than you need. at least for me. w00t for big power 3.0s. |

Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
Actually I was looking for pics of the exhaust manifolds. Or did you just weld on a T3 flange to the crossover pipe?

Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
The junkyard came out to play again last night....
Against a 400+whp 24v 6g72 Galant running a gt35r... http://videos.streetfire.net/video/4...The_205383.htm The junkyard was on 19psi And had to have slicks on because the drag radials were spinning in 4th gear over 100mph. We almost lost the car when tuning because of it. good times.

Its a twin scroll manifold with divided t3 flange but I draw wastegate gases from both sides. Absolutely flat boost line down to the decimal place with no boost spiking. I would like to build a turbular version of this manifold but getting around to it is another issue. I already avoid my Megasquirt install like the plague. I didnt do the original welds as I lived in an apartment in those days. I broke the wastegate pipe while accidentally manhandling the motor with it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
Another good race video..
but always with the extenuating circumstances..... spark plug wires, alky pump? probly more frustrating for you than us.. luckily the car is still fast enough that the 'excuses' dont come off bad now what someone needs to do is transpose 'the junkyard' into that first race in fast and furious 1. for some reason your car seems to fit with the 'going so fast part of my floorboard fell out!' thing. Do you have links to the boosted galants you've raced? Im curious to see their threads/info if you happen to know of them. |

Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
Its been the same galant. First time Ondonti was on 6psi and warmandscsi was on 16. On this race we were on 17-18, the galant was on 16.
Here is a link to his streetfire page. His car is really sick. One of my favorite local cars. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/4...ant_199988.htm |

Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
ahh i was confused because of the blower/turbo switch.
pretty sweet. Wish i had had a chance to mess with my freaking awesome viper red 6g73 avenger on 18s with sebring head, 97 rear conversion, brake upgrade, blah blah blah, before i sent my ex packing in it. :/ I may still get another one. Definitely not spending another $3k on paint. Nice car. |

Re: 442whp SR20vet vs 3.0 +dyno sheets
The hood is actually purposely + accidentally jacked up. When I was gutting the hood, I tried to close it and it bent. I welded some metal on the sides to keep it from bending. I didnt unbend it before welding. lol. After that I added spacers to the latch to lift the front of the hood ( I recently removed aboug 1/2" of spacer).
But it ended up working perfectly to fit the intake manifold. I didnt know high the intake manifold was going to be when I built the hood. I didnt realize why the hood was jacked up until I removed the spacers a few weeks ago and thought critically about why the hood closed incompletely. Last edited by Ondonti; 12-25-2008 at 10:36 PM. |
