I think that looks nice. Where in IN are you located?
Man your black trim around the windows looks SO much better than mine! Mine has paint that has peeled off of it over the years and I have not decided if I want to address it by repainting it, or leavening it as is.....
BTW, not mad at the red stripe vs gold. Looks good IMHO.
Back bumper polished, bumper molding painted, and gold stripe replaced with red...its getting there!

That looks great. Thanks for taking the time to post the pics.
That is great to hear.
Started restoring the side window trim...drivers quarter glass trim done

Wow, that looks really nice. Did you have to pull the sail planner to get that off? I've never actually saved that trim on cars I've parted if I'm not mistaken.
I pulled the glass out, then the trim piece around the glass. Painted the trim with SEM trim black and redid the vinyl blackout pieces.
Finished the front door trim also, along with new window sweeps. This time though instead of replacing the blackout vinyl i sanded the area just painted it, turned out great!

That is looking sharp. I need to get that going on my cars.
Happen to find a "Turbo" hood in stock at National Auto Body, wrapped it in 3m Matte Black with added "Intercooled VNT" decals

Looks nice! One thing I'll never understand is Chrysler clearly designed this quarter window to pivot open, yet not a single model ever had this option. I pulled off some hinges from Caravans and was going to do this on my Shadows, but never got around to it. Now both 2 dr Shadows I had are both sold. I did give the hinges to the new owner of my CSX-T. Maybe he'll get around to it?
My biggest complaint on the 2 dr Shadows was the shoulder strap would flutter in the wind badly whenever the window was rolled down while driving at interstate speed. This sort of drove me nuts! This was NOT the case with the 4 dr Shadows. Opening those quarter windows probably would have vented the cabin enough to reduce or eliminate that shoulder strap (seat belt) from buzzing so bad. That and the car's interior would be much cooler too.

I should try that sometime. I've never seen anyone actually do it.
