    Converting Mechanical Speedo

I swapped in a '89 T2 engine and A555 into my sundance. The sundance has a mechancial speedo in there now. I have all the parts to to swap in a electronic speedo. If anyone has a diagram or how to on where the wires go to hook up this electronic speedo it would be much appreciated.....

If you want to switch from a cable-driven speedo to a electronic (NOT DIGITAL) one, the switch is fairly easy. Pull out your wiring diagrams for your install-in car, and a wiring diagram for the car you pulled the cluster out of, or any car with electronic speedo probably.

You'll have to swap plugs out and rearrange some pins. Unless your car has a speed/distance sensor wire in the dash area, you'll have to run one from someplace. I would take a look at where the navigator should be, there might be a lead there to splice. Otherwise you have to go back to the LM and run a wire to the speedo signal pin on the round plug.

i have the 85, 88, and 93 FSMs, but no scanner here. I'll try to scan them in for you when I can find a scanner.
