    Coil Over Install

    How the front struts look

How I solved the dilema in the back because of there just being a spring and not a spring and strut. What I did was drilled a 2.5inch hole in the spring mounting perch and my coil overs came with a guide so I set the guide in the hole and it allowed the spring to sit on the lower perch. What I did for the threaded collar part was to grind the lip off of the upper spring guide slide the collar on. I will take more detailed pictures later

This is how much gap I now have it set at up front. It's roughly an inch and half of gap. I will take pictures with the car raised all the way and slammed all the way as well

Back is the same as the front.

Just a view from the back so you can see how the spring sits, as you can see I also cut out my spare tire well in that picture

This is it from the top

And while I'm at it I took some pictures of my engine bay

what coilover set is this? please give us some detailed shots of the back!
i need to know for sure, if i can run coilovers in the back ... i just don't think that the suspension parts i'm getting will make my car a performer on a road racing track.

Just a universal kitk Every ebay kit i've seen has looked exactly the same cept the length of springs usually varies. I would suggest getting one with at least 10 inch long springs, the springs I have I feel are a little bit on the short side but still do the job

This is the Front Strut Completely Assembled

    This it on the car

This is how I modded the back, you can see where I ground it down there is a lip there you gotta take off so the sleeve will slide on

You can see how I drilled a hole with a hole swap in the bottom of the rear spring perch to mount this (picture below)

I was thinking about it, but I'm not as ghetto as I used to be... more like cost effective
