All 2.2/2.5 starters interchange. I am using a Nippo gear reduction starter off a mid 80's Omni,

Oh, just remembered, you might have to do some drilling or use 2 bolts/studs instead of 3. Some Screwed into the trans, some screwed into the starter so thats the only real difference.
