    Opinions on clutchnet clutch kits

My clutch went out today. I read on gary's site that the clutchnet discs are good but the pressure plates are too stiff and brake cables. What if I were to get the "red" disc and the "green" pressure plate? Which pressure plate brakes the cables? Changing a clutch cable in the middle of the road doesn't sound too appealing to me.

They sent me 2 6puck clutches and neither worked. Got gary's 4puck in now.

They're disc's are good, the PP's suck! I had a dual diaphram and changed it in and out with different shims 13 times in 1 month trying to get it to work. Never did. I ganked it and put in a T2/T3 setup and all was well. After yanking the motor another time and messing up the splines on the T2 disc I threw the clutchnet disc in with the T3 plate and it's held up to lots and lots of abuse with the T3 plate. It's had huge amounts of oil on it and it keeps on giving. To get a setup in 1 package though I'd go to Specclutch.com and order something from them. They rock and the PP's are designed properly. They also have a lightweight PP option.

I noticed that both tu and fwd had a special on their t2/t3 clutch kits. I was thinking about those as well. I just didn't know if they'd hold up. I run about 12-14 psi for daily driving and if I go to the strip about 28 with alky injection. I just don't have alot of money to spend right now. Hopefully I get my w-2's soon so I can get a rapid refund or something and have some cash to play with.

I have one of the 4 puck setups that cindy sells on here site in my shadow, and I could not be happier with it. It has held up to 22psi.

Any body running a t2 disc and a t3 pressure plate? That looks like the best value for the money. It would only have to handle the occasional flogging. Of course I'm sure it's probably better to have some overkill in the clutch department. Honestly I'm never going to make any more than 275 hp in this car since the turbo has the .48 housing and I doubt I'll ever change it unless The turbo fails and I'm rolling in cash at the time to get a bigger turbo.
