A buddy of mine has a Rampage in which the dash wiring caught fire and since his Rampage is his business vehicle and is in mint condition he found a junker and is trying to take out the dash to get the wiring harness. Unfortunately he is having trouble getting the lights switch off. How does this particular pull switch come apart?
There is a small button on the side. You have to push gently on the switch knob, then push in the button, then pull the knob out. Usually the lights will pull on, then the knob will keep on coming. Push it gently to turn the lights back off, and remove it.
