    Custom Aluminium Radiators!

    http://turbosunleashed.com/shop/depo...tiv-p-564.html

I just wanted to drum up support for Turbos Unleashed potential new production of their custom radiators from years ago! I put my deposit in because I need one for my 87 CSX.

I saw this and was thinking about it. Does it make sense to go for one if you're not planning on running a stock intercooler? Like go for an aftermarket Honda piece or something like that? I would like one for my GLH build but won't be using the stock intercooler. Was also thinking of going for one on my 87 Shelby Z, but that too has a front mounted cooler. Right now, it's got a good used piece I got from Mr. Demoss years ago. Then was also thinking one for the 93 IROC R/T...so in the end the price tag got me to pause...maybe not all those .

It all depends. I'm thinking about making a custom unit with my own core since I'll be using an FMIC in some of my cars. At the same time, and extra capacity stock dimension unit would probably be perfect for 95% of us at least. I'll probably get one to two just in case for my cars which retain the stock TII IC. Heck, most cars with a FMIC would be fine with a stock location piece and a little ducting.

Very good points. I do like the added capacity, and I have one of the original ones - I believe - on my 86 Turbo Z I purchased that way and it's got a FMIC that works well together. I'm also thinking it would be good to have for future cars that will keep the stock setup...although I promised the wife that I wouldn't pull the trigger on anymore, but I also made that promise a car ago .

Keep in mind without these available the cost of getting a proper I/C rad made is ridiculous. I know of members who have paid 800-1200 CND to get a rad done.

IMHO this is a Great deal and would be nice if it were available all the time. (Not just group but)
