    It's an '89 T-II engine.

Need to see front of engine to make sure it's an '89

Actually it looks likes an 87 or 88 t-2 motor. It has the forged crank and mahle pistons, and the deep well pick-up found on t-2's but the seal retainer/ oil pan end gaskets are both the same shape. Doesn't the common block pans use one side that is rather rectangle and the other side that is like a half moon? Where as the early motors use two rectangle type seals? But then again my eyesight isn't the greatest, so i might not be seeing the pictures all that clearly.

I mentioned that as well in the first thread Cindy. I still say 88 T2. Looking at the CB on the stand in the garage, 100% not CB. The oil sender thingy is another give away.

I figured as much, just wanted to be positive since I'm a newb with these motors and I don't want to go buying parts that dont fit. Thanks for the help.

I didn't the first thread mentioned, but yes, your right about the oil sender on the front of the motor, plus if you look at the back side, it looks like a 3-wire O2 sensor plug.
Of course the easiest way would have been to just look at the build date on the back side of the block!!!

Kinda threw me off looking at that but the consensus was it's a factory replacement engine.
