    Non Mopar Proportioning valves

-wrote a long detailed post and got logged out. Not going through that again.
Short and sweet, with the increasingly difficultly of finding proportioning valves when doing a SL3 type upgrade has anyone looked at sourcing a prop valve from a non Mopar car.
As an example my wife’s NC Miata weighs about a 100 lbs less than my road race Shelby Charger and has vented up front and solid rotors in the rear. Just like mine. NC’s were offered without ABS too. I know the NC has a much different weight distribution but this was just a tossed out idea. Maybe a Cobalt SS? Was non ABS even an option?
Before I get logged out again
what are your thoughts? Any good possible donors?

I would have to look at the ratios again, but after Rbyrant(?) broke it down some years ago, I seem to recall not being worried about changing the valves. Let me see if I can find that info.

That’s a great thread with lots of information. Unfortunately it’s close to 15 years after the thread was started and donor 4 wheel disc cars are no longer easily found. Availability is the problem I’m dealing with and is what has me wondering about the possibility of a more easily sourced valve that would be a good replacement

Which body style are you upgrading? An L Body? Why the SLH3? That isn't my preferred route these days, but it may be easier for some, which I can understand.

Yes those are great, or just run a tee on the front brakes and install an adjustable prob to the rear.
