    Sledgehammer Needs A New Home

The time has come for Sledgehammer to go. I can't physically do all the is necessary to carry on with the car. It sucks getting old.

For those who don't know, the car is a white 1989 GTC TII car. Grey cloth interior. The rear seat is out of it, but I have it. The rear bumper is off the car and around here somewhere! The body is excellent. I believe the paint is too. It has been under a car cover, so I expect a good cleaning would be in order.

The block and trans are in the car. Block is empty of rods and pistons. Trans is a Quaife equipped 568. All cables and shifter should be good. Booger bushings in cable ends. There is an RPS clutch and pressure plate in it. I also have a spare that I need to check on. Heck, I have a lot to check on! I have an extra 568 also. Probably two. 3" stainless exhaust.

Koni's and Eibach springs are on the car. Ground Control front springs. I think they were 250# springs. Also have a set of 500# springs. Manual steering rack in car. Chris Still Racing adjustable rear panhard bar.

I had installed separate Autometer boost and oil pressure gauges. Exhaust gas temp gauge is a Westach unit. Autometer A/F gauge also.

System 1 oil filter. Large intercooler from a Mack Truck. Plumbing is meh. I used what I had to get the job done, but it never failed me.

BBS 16 x7" wheels. Tires are not good. 😁

I still have wheels for slicks. Heck, M&H slicks are still on them.

If interested, send me an e-mail or call me at 717-226-3814. Send a text first letting me know who you are and why you are calling. You can figure out why.

I probably am forgetting a few things. 🤣 Injectors, SMECs, etc.

Asking $4500.00 for it all. I'll e-mail more pictures to interested parties.

    Thanks,

    Steve M.

Holy cow! All these years I thought it was a vert. Sad to see that it's time to let it go, Steve. Best of luck with the sale.

Brian, it just goes to show it has been resting in my garage for far too long!

Sorry for the double. Slow response. I thought the reply was dead. 🤣

Yep, the '80s were 40+ years ago
    John Laing

"The sole condition which is required in order to succeed in centralizing the supreme power in a democratic community, is to love equality, or to get men to believe you love it. Thus the science of despotism, which was once so complex is simplified, and reduced . . . . to a single principle."
    -- Alexis de Tocqueville

"One of the methods used by statists to destroy capitalism consists in establishing controls that tie a given industry hand and foot, making it unable to solve its problems, then declaring that freedom has failed and stronger controls are necessary."
    --Ayn Rand

"To evolve, you don't need a Constitution. All you need is a legislature and a ballot box . . . . things will evolve as much as you want. All of these changes can come about democratically; you don't need a Constitution to do that and it's not the function of a Constitution to do that."
    -- Justice Antonin Scalia
