    Tuner Studio

I'm attempting to learn the program, and I know there are several on here who must use it. What resources did you use when starting out? Any tips for tuning with it? Where did you go for information about how it all works? I haven't found anything terribly detailed yet.

I'm having good success with the TII Daytona so far, given that I've only had the car running a few times. Took it out for Ice cream tonight and the transition from idle to driving under a load is such that I have to give it quite a bit of gas before leaving the line or it will want to stall. The idle hunts a bit, but it's not terrible. I've seen worse cals with the stock electronics, so I'm not going to turn my nose up at this at all!

Anyway, the best thing I've found thus far is Andy Whittle's youtube channel. I have followed a little of what he said in this video, and it really helped with my idle.

I thought this guy has a good series just for my "edumacation" as I don't have a standalone https://www.youtube.com/@throttlebuddies6356

Thanks for the link. I'll certainly check it out. I really want to get a couple things figured out with this, and then it's go time.

    Re: Tuner Studio

my idle was surging a bit on 1st start up
i added a bunch of fuel (super lean) then pulled some timing at it seemed to help

I also noticed it was fighting with the AIS too , so i told it to home the AIS , I disconnected it and set the idle with the throttle blade

Sloppy Mechanics (Matt Happel) has a bunch of Megasquirt/Tuner Studio YouTube videos

I did, and it was very helpful. I have actually found myself referencing your posts across the internet many times in the process of getting this off the ground. Thanks a ton for a detailed account of it all. It's greatly appreciated.

I'll try to post those up when I have the car out next. It's hardly, if ever driven so it might be a while. The Shelby Lancer will be going under the knife in a couple days. I need to dig out an old wiring harness so I can not cut up the one which I rather nicely redid.
