I'm interested in a couple of them. I'm assuming the chief reason is for insulating heat, and increased runner volume? I've got one of Adam's upper intake plenums...assuming it'll work perfectly with that?

yes, it's to isolate the intake plenum and keep that big mass from heat soaking
should work great with Lengel's Plenum
which body style are you putting it in ? I'm not sure how much taller his plenum is but as long as there is another 3/8" plus clearance space above it .. you should be good.

The one with Adam's plenum is going on my 87 Shelby Z, the other I plan to use on my 85 GLH with an 87 Turbo II in it. It's got its stock flat hood on it now, but plan to put the Turbo hood that I also bought from Adam on it.
