My Spirit has the passenger seatbelt that runs on the track in the frame. Is there a way to convert that to a regular seatbelt? The track still functions but the PO removed that belt.

Find an earlier year and swap everything over. It all fits right in, you will need to make a nut plate for the top of the "B" pillar seat where the seat belt attaches.
On that same doner car if it has the denso A/C compressor do yourself a favor and get the manifold on the top of the compressor also.

Thank you, any idea what year they started with the seat belt nonsense? These cars are getting hard to find in the junkyard. Also any idea what car I could get an automatic floor shift housing and cable from? I got the shifter out of a Horizon and I did get the cable but I'm guessing it's going to be too short.
The automatic seatbelt thing was 94-95 model year thing to get around the lack of a passenger side air bag.
Looks like the P and A body used the same shift cable for the floor mount. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ift+cable,8528
