Trying to figure out what automatic transmission I have in a 94' Spirit 2.5 tbi. It's got the two wire connection near the dipstick and a 3 wire connector on the left corner of the oil pan.

Sounds like a lock-up A413.

The 2 wire is the lockup? Would the 3 wire be output shaft/speed? Thanks

On the front of the trans the 2 wire is lock up converter, 3 wire is nuetral safety switch, connection on the back is the speed sensor and should be 3 wire.. 94 will have the hall effect style speed sensor which iirc is 3 wires. Earlier models had 2 wire speed sensors.
