Cold Enrichment Tables CurveA, B, and C

    Hi All,

For those of you running MPTUNE on a 2.2, can you share a screenshot of the (3) FuelColdEnrichmentCurve tables including the raw data? I am interested in what you guys have configured for +20, +40, or larger injectors. I am in the process of fine tuning those tables for cold start and I'm curious of how others have it configured.

    Thanks
    Mike

I haven't had to change them. I just used what MPTune scaled them too or was was already in the T-LM/SMEC cals or BoostButton templates. Although I don't often operate my TM cars in the winter.

What size injectors are you using? And if you have a wideband installed, what AFR do you see in the initial one minute of your car running?

I've driven my LM cars year round, and I've never adjusted the cold enrichment curves on those cars. I generally have +40s in them. It's obviously super rich for the first minute the car is running.

I've had both stock and +40s in my LM car and never felt like they needed to be adjusted. I don't have recorded the A/F at startup but usually in the mid 10s and works its way up to 12.5 and then when done with enrichment it stays at stoich (bouncing around 14.4 to 15.1). As long as it sounds fine, doesn't stall, no excessive fuel smell, and comes up to temp fine and most importantly eventually idles around 14.7 I don't care the exact A/F at startup.

i havent adjusted them much either. they arent barfing fuel rich but I wouldnt mind taking a little out during really cold warmup.

if i start it up and head out, then i cant roll into boost hardly at all or its far too rich. i just short shift for a few min and its fine.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have similar behavior on a cold start. The AFRs are in the low 10s for about 1 min and then creep up after that. I'll keep messing with the tables and post my config when I feel like its where it should be. I would like for it to be in the 11-12s on initial start up.

Any engine is going to be super rich on cold start when it's cold outside. The stock cals were this way too. You may be able to lean it out and have reliable starting and transition into the engine being warm, but I wouldn't count on that too much.
