if it helps any I'm also going to list that transmission I bought from Cindy at FWP

has a 408 final drive gear and a 3:69 first.. 568 style trans

    $2000 us

still brand new in the box..

if I still have the shifters and nos cables listed elsewhere I'll throw them in with the trans N diff for 3K us = shipping

i'm over $5ooo cdn into all this so there's a deal in there after you work out the conversion

if you wanna manage the shipping weight I could even add in an 8 bolt flywheel

Idono about the 523.. does it use the same diff as a 568 .. or is it different again like the 520 vs 555

was told it would fit 555 or 568 as my trans has the same diff as both of those

prob work real good with that 408 ring gear wrapped around it too...

Ok, DanH told me the 568/555 use the same, and 523/520 use the same.

My notes have the Quaife for 555/568 is US part # 48.309.150 UK product code # QDF16B
For the a520/a523 & Neon T-350 gearbox is US part # 48.309.140 UK product code #QDF31
SRT-4 Neon 1995-2005 US part # 48.309.180 UK product code XXXX? This might be the LSD that fits your Getrag a588. Looks like QDF1e3 on your box?

John, There should be a product code # on the diff. Might be helpful to list for potential buyer.

    I'll look & see
    I bought it from TU..specifically for a 555 or 568

I think it was the last of their last bunch

it came however with a packing or shipping slip from Austria..

cough..JUST BEFORE Cindy posted the brand new 588 for sale..
