Thought the rack and pinion was an 1988 Daytona rack but maybe not. IF it is, it was modified a lot by Consulier or by someone for them.
Photo shows both together.
I searched for hours looking and comparing just the racks and the inner tie rod.
My rack was good, just a bad inner tie rod. While I am at it, I am going to change both inner and outer tie rods.
I found that the inner tie rods are real close to the Chevette ones (and early Fiero).
I needed to cut and grind flat the inner part because of a sleeve that was too small compared to the Consulier one.
Also it was a little too long. Cutting it to the correct length and removing the sleeve edge made it all just right.
