Description: The time has come, I am selling my 1985 Omni GLH (the last of my cars) I think I have owned the car for 13 years. Very rust free car. Since I have owned car, never driven in winter(so no Ohio road salt) previous owner was in West Virginia. Has been garage kept most of time I have owned it. Car was last driven almost 4 years ago, the video at drag-strip, then parked in garage. Car was mostly a drag strip oriented car best time was 12.34@110.88 ( but still licensed and driven on road in summer) no heat or AC.
interior: has good crack free dash, I purchased a good steering wheel a few years ago( very nice) door cards are one piece ones from a 90 omni, I had replacement carpet years ago.
engine/drive train: 2.2 rebuilt went I first acquired car. T3t4 50 trim (turbo from FWDP) large front mount intercooler. 255 pm fuel pump in tank with +40 injectors and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. 782 head with two piece intake. 2.5 inch swing valve with exhaust bypass. Devils own water injection. A523 transmission swap with ceramic clutch, and cable and shifter. Switched to equal length axles.
Paint is unique to this car with the checker flag, very poor paint job, but car always got compliments when I was out driving it. Rust spot on hood by vent, paint peeling on drivers door, and a bullet hole drivers side C pillar ( yes I said bullet hole) during my ownership, will tell interested buyer story.
good glass, I think maybe a small rock chip in windshield.( I’ll have to verify)
