    Billet Reverse pistons.

Thicker piston to help stay straight in the bore, overall larger diameter to seal better in bore, and tighter pin hole to help reduce any leakage.

Billet differential cover to reinforce the diff area of the case.

Tabs off the side to mount additional bracing.

Grooves in the ring gear cut out to reduce/prevent cavitation as well as keep the ring gear lubricated.

Billet transfer gear cover that acts as a girdle.

This cover will increase fluid capacity and also has a drain plug in the bottom. Will also clear the larger frana gears.

Pinion brace that reinforces the case where they are known to break.

    This is made from 7075-T6.

Epoxied and bolted to the case.

    A413 Billet parts

    Redesigned the frana pinion brace.

I didnt like how loosely the center fit around the pinion shaft since the stock piece fits snuggly around the pinion.

I felt with it fitting so loosely it would allow the pinion shaft to have side to side play since the pinion is set with end play instead of preload.

    Top is Frana

    Couple parts currently getting machined.

Billet steel backing plate for direct drum.

Stepped billet steel backing plate for rear clutch. The stepped plate allows for the same thickness plate as stock, but thicker in the center to help prevent coning.

Billet steel direct drum that will accept an additional full thickness friction and steel making the capacity 6 instead of 5, a 13% larger apply piston, and an upgraded check ball that will not come unseated at higher rpms.

Larger Billet aluminum apply piston that has had some tweaks to allow quicker engagement along with grooves to allow fluid to escape from between the piston and clutch steel.

Billet aluminum Intermediate servo with dual sealing rings and blocked center piston to allow cleaner/faster 1-2 and 2-3 shifts while reducing/eliminating any leaks in the servo do to poor sealing of the factory rings.

    Are these forsale?

Any idea/recommendation on when these parts are needed? ie. at what hp/torque levels?

Yes Ive sold quite a few.

Not really sure at what hp level they are needed, I was having issues so I decided to make some better/stronger parts.

I feel the reverse piston is beneficial any time you increase the pressure.

The intermediate servo is just an upgrade to help firm shifts and increase band lift due to less fluid leakage.

Pinion brace is also a good preventative measure since that part of the case is extremely weak.

Transfer and diff covers I think would be more for higher hp levels.

    Reverse servos are $60
    Intermediate servo $100
Billet drum, piston, backing plate $650
    Frana style pinion brace $200
    My pinion brace $250
    Diff cover $500
    Transfer cover $500
billet backing plate for rear clutch $65

    All prices are plus shipping

The bolt on brace i never listed because it wasnt a simple piece to install. Wallace wants one and i believe two others. I can order them this week if you want in.

    Re: A413 Billet parts

Got the backing plates in for the rear clutch.

While building my trans I noticed that every backing plate from numerous different trans were cone shaped (warped). This means the clutch discs are not getting 100% of the surface area in contact with the backing plate which also means less holding power of the clutch pack.

This plate is what all the clutches in the clutch pack apply against. The problem is flexing and bowing of the backing plate (coning), which is a primary source of clutch failure. The flexing occurs especially when apply pressures exceed OE specifications which most of us are doing. This backing plate will be made from 4340 billet steel and is thicker in the center of the plate which will minimize flexing/bowing when clutch is applied, drastically reducing the likelihood of clutch plate distortion.

This design has been done by Sonnax for numerous other transmissions and is proven to reduce flexing.

The new plate is 57 grams heavier than the stock plate.

Got too if you want the thing to hold the power and weight.

Ive spent most of the day today trying to break down the fluid circuit and figure out a trans brake..

Auto trans taken to the next level, nice!Helping close the circle with component upgrades that needed to happen IMO. Im a manual gear banger BUT with the mass T-M current mods and your additions are making our auto trans cars top notch. Seeing this is automotive work=Siemens 3D modeling...!!??!..
