Alt adjuster bracket bottom bushing source?

The lower bushing that connects the alt adjuster bracket to the water pump is blown out, anyone have a source for this bushing?

They hardly ever fail, so I don't think anyone ever made a replacement. Seriously doubt you'll find one.

Ya just looked at it i bed i can make a replacement out of a 1.75" OD poly bushing from energy suspension. This one was reached, likely cranked down way too tight.

Figured out some universals I can probably make work. ENERGY 9.9484.

I'd have to drill out the center and cut the flange off the other bushing but should work out.

I was hoping you would chime in. Other than a few junkyard engines robbing parts from when these cars were still showing up at the yards I have never seen that style of adjuster in widespread usage. Kinda like the ZF vs Saginaw power steering pump usage rate.

From some reading it was used with the 90 and 100+ amp alternators prior to 1989.

Yes they're my preferred lower alternator adjuster. They should be used with the early style waterpump housing. The waterpump housing and bracket work just fine on CB's. Chrysler even did that with the masi 16V engines. I shorten mine when I install on L-bodies, for more room at core support.
You guys might get a laugh about this. This is what happens when someone really over tightens that waterpump attachment bolt. I could just hear it. 90 ft/lbs should be good. Either that or hit it good with the impact. Since parts are getting scarce, I repaired this so it could live on for another day.

Ended up making my own bushing out of the replacement lower control arm bushings that don't fit the cast arms.
