    Power brake bleeder

I would like to not strain my marriage every time I have to bleed brakes. Does anyone have a suggestion for something which won't break the bank and yet wi) make my life way easier?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look hard at that second style, as I have a nice compressor which doesn't see much use these days.

How does he attach air to the cap, an npt fitting somehow adapted, or a valve stem?

    Re: Power brake bleeder

simple solution is"RUSSEL" brake bleed nipples.. they work one way so you can bleed brakes by yourself
you'll have to figure out the correct ones to fit hole & thread

fora tube to the jar I've always used one of our cars right angled vacuum line boots and an
o-e piece of the hard vac line

it works if you don't push the peddle to hard or fast

I might try that first. It sounds really cheap to do.

    Re: Power brake bleeder

i wrap the brake bleeder threads in teflon tape/paste (so i dont get a false air bubble in the hose) and use the mighty vac to pull the air out. I havent had anyone pump the pedal in years.

I also tried this and the teflon tape on the threads is a must.

    Re: Power brake bleeder

Thanks for the tips guys. I think I have a bad caliper letting air in somehow. I know I have the calipers on the correct sides and I'm bleeding them properly. I still have a very soft pedal even with the 24mm Mc. I'm going to just put the big brakes on the front and be done with it.
