What’s the best way to e-card to replacing a TII rad these days? Record, or something else? I didn’t see any more of the Al units on TUs website.

I believe this is a non intercooled car's rad .. but with a front mount i-c it gives one a work around

I posted some time ago
I used to work for a radiator manufacturer here in toronto
suggested I go ask if our rads could go back into a limited production
the only issue is having the stamps for the headers (end plates the tubes solder to)
if you can make those it only takes about 6 min to stack a core and twenty to bake it in the oven.
I got not one response
I would really like to avoid a FMIC in this car, as a stock IC will certainly be all that’s needed for the boost I’ll be seeing. The one in the car doesn’t look too bad, so perhaps a record is in order.
well worst case, leaking tubes can be soldered shut easily enough , though it would be nice to have a better core ..at that point too but .. sometimes "you hafta work wit whatcha got"
Well, I think I'll need to find a shop to have some of mine recored. It looks like that's the only option out there, and I'm not having any luck with other rads, so until TU does another run of them, I guess it's the best we've got.
TU had a group buy a few years ago for another run of aluminum radiators, but I don’t think it materialized. I got a quote of $450 to re-core a TII radiator recently. I opted for a good used one. Try looking on the facebook groups for a good used radiator.
There was a company in Mexico that made TIII radiators and could do TII radiators also, but the guy who would buy them and bring across the border for shipping has been MIA for a few years :\
I remember that. I didn't know tii roadsters available from him too. That would have been pretty sweet
I don't know if he ever actually picked up any, but I recall reading a post on the forums where he said they could/do make them too.
