I have always read of guys using the Durango alternators which output a higher current. I recently picked up one which is rated at 136 amps.

For those of you who have done this, how did you modify the wiring? The field terminals are easy, as I just bought the connector for the alternator and will splice it in. I did pick up some 2ga tefzel wire for the ground and power feed to the battery.

Have you guys completely redone the alternator section of the wiring, or just laid the new, larger wire over top of the existing harness?

This case doesn’t have a boss for a ground like ours do. How have you guys handled that aspect of installation?

Any tips, especially with pictures would be great.
