Returning to the turbo dodge scene

Hi everyone I am very close to finalizing buying a couple project cars back that were sold 8 years ago....Unfortunately I do not know its current state and it sounds like it has been sitting and the parts it had sounds like are no longer available like the eibach springs. When sold the car was running a 88 2.2 t2 motor in excellent shape with the 3 bar map, +40s and boostbutton stage 5 sbec pm. The only issue it was experiencing was a short in the fuel injector harness when i had it.

I will also be getting a 90 shelby daytona vnt rolling shell and the 2.2 motor that came with car that supposedly was rebuilt with its suppose to have all forged internals and venolia fored .030 pistons, a forward motion performance cam, ported and polished head etc....but yes I put a couple drops in the cylinders and it jumped from 75-100 psi so i will be taking a part and seeing what I have and putting it back together are all the stage 5 parts still available?

The following "mods" have been installed on the car:

    • 17" Speedy Rims (Very light weight at under 20 lbs per rim)
    • Eibach springs
    • KYB shocks/struts
    • Forward Motion strut tower bar
    • Forward Motion rear panhard bar
    • Intercooler from diesel Fuso truck with 2.5" mandrel-bent piping
    • TiAL "Q" Blow-off valve
    • Accufab Fuel-pressure regulator
    • Mopar "804" injectors
    • Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
    • MSD Blaster 2 Coil
    • MSD SCI Ignition Box
    • 52 mm throttle body
    • Taylor 9 mm spark plug wires
    • Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump
    • FWD Performance "G-valve" boost controller (set to 12 psi)
    • FWD Performance Grounding Kit
    • FWD Performance transmission cooler
    • Gauges on A-pillar (Vacuum/boost, Air/Fuel, & Oil Pressure)
    • Low-restriction OBX muffler

I did the same thing back in 2009, traded the GLH off. Went thru a few other turbo cars trying to replace what i had. Was lucky enought to find another gold GLHT like i had. Never again! lol

Mostly just advice and knowledge that i may gain from guys who been here a long time. I know the forums have droves of knowledge here but its slow going sifting through a lot of the threads.

Its hard to find people still actively making things for these cars now. And most the older members that use to offer services either dont any more or they are inactive on here.
