    Question Turbo Removal

I am in the process of removing the turbo on my 2003 PT Turbo. I have removed everything necessary intake, oil lines, coolant lines, the lock ring on the turbo etc. But it's stuck on good. Won't budge even after hitting with a rubber mallet. I don't want this project to turn into something that just sits in my barn for the next 6 months. Any help would be amazing!

    Re: Turbo Removal

its not a bad idea to loosen the lock ring but leave it there so the turbo doesnt come flying out.... if you are replacing the turbo, whack at it with a metal hammer some. hit one side, then hit on the other side so it doesnt get ----ed.
