    Under-spoiler seals?

Just wondering what y'all have used to replace the seals that go under the mounting points of their spoilers. Before I just try to fabricate something, I wanted to see what others have done.

Specifically this is for an '89 LS, so I have the upper and lower spoilers to deal with. Thanks!

if you can get it wide enough you're not using multiple pieces to cover each mounting boss on the spoiler .. how about some 3M body trim tape?.. thinking it should seal well .. and it's about the thickness of a body part mounting gasket ..

using multiple pieces side by side might create a pathway for leaks ..maybe?

    Re: Under-spoiler seals?

The original seal for the deck lid spoiler is actually one big piece, which makes sense there. However, the one that sits on the back of the roof/top of the hatch has three specific mounting points that will need individual seals or things will look very strange indeed lol.

My thought is to find some pliable rubber of sorts and trim it to fit the application. About 1/16" thick appears to be about what the original material was before 32 years of life compressed it.
