I just finished refreshing the CSX powertrain last weekend and finished my preignition checklist. OK we are ready to go. Let's verify clutch operation. Worked as expected but engagement point was a bit lower than expected so I had a look at the cable end at the 555, looked OK. When back in the car I pushed the clutch again and CLUNK......WTF. Now the pedal has no spring to 50% and is impossible to push any further. The pressure plate can no longer be disengaged. I am guessing the throwout bearing has slipped off the fork. Looks like the 555 will need to be dropped to repair.
Any ideas what I could have done wrong other than I picked the wrong hobby LOL?
