    Vacuum gauge install

84 Laser XE, looking to tap into a under dash vacuum line for the boost/vacuum gauge install. Where is a good place to look?

    Re: Vacuum gauge install

If your looking for something underdash, I would suggest placing a tee right before the MAP sensor in the right kick panel. I believe the AC signal line will be coming off the vacuum booster and that has built in check valve. So that wouldn't be a good choice for a boost gauge (lol). Wait, doesn't your car have a boost gauge already in the dash?

No. I’ve got the travel computer and the system check so no room for the factory boost gauge
