LOL that's how Blacksmiths got a tight fit for the iron tire on wagon wheels! Except they used a forge to heat the tire. I had a WWII manual on how to temp and un-temp Metal by the color. Used in Drop axles before all the expensive crap today. My late cousin heated a crank for me, welded up the seized spot, took out the temp, reground the bearing, reheated to re temp! Still going as far as I know on my 53 stude!
