    Reaper1, the engine I purchased is not from the car in the linked thread. I’ve owned a VDS switch assembly that goes in the center console. It came from a 90 VNT Daytona that was also donated to a tech school in Iowa.

    It's just a curiosity piece. No one is going to run something like that on a car that really needs an oil cooler. I run a Mocal oil cooler in my GLHT. It's like a mini radiator. There is rare, then there is desirable. Just because something is a odd duck option doesn't mean it is desirable, just ask the mod top owners (haha).

    I wasn't sure if it was the same car or not.

    I've seen pictures of the switch, but never seen one in person. The one thing I didn't like about the system from the description of its operation is that it would only stay in the "Firm" setting for a period of time before reverting to "Normal".
