I have a Sundance with a questionable brass turbo coolant input fitting so it is easy to access. I have removed a number of these with heat with other turbos on the bench. Of course, I will need to drain the coolant in order to heat the fitting. I feel the inside oil, bearings and turbine shaft should be OK but thought it was best to ask first. I was planning to use my swirl combustion air/propane torch.
Any thoughts?
