Why are 4 lug pizza wheels hard to find?
I understand they are old -i get that point-but they were produced 3 model years(?) -
were they an odd /unusual option ?
I can find 4 lug swiss cheese ones easily but not those.......

Age, plain and simple. The price of scrap metal goes up and all the clutter gets cleared out. In past threads here on the board I have read the commentary on people taking entire truck loads of wheels to the scrapper for beer money. 4 lug wheels in particular are less desirable so they get recycled sooner.

I didn't realize that they made 4 lug pizza wheels for that long. I thought the majority of the 4 lug wheels were swiss cheese, and very few pizzas?
Some one care to enlighten this 'Ole Dawg on what cars the 4 lug pizza wheels could be had on? Just curious but have no interest in buying a set. I converter my '83 GT Scamp to 5 lug and searched for better then a year to locate a set of 40 hole Swiss Cheese. One I found was NOS/Take Off and the other 3 got treated to a rebuild so they all match, Jer
4 hole piza wheels came on 83'4 shelby chargers , 84 turbo z's and the lebaron gts'.. - working from memory .. I can't recall others
I've seen some early shelby chargers with the swiss cheese wheels .. maybe some of the gts' too.. and on the daytona/lazer turbo
I'm not sure the pizza wheels would have been on K car variants .. maybe .. most seemed to be swiss cheese too
I'd have to find my old sales brochures to be definite here..
when the turbo cars went 5 lug in '85 the swiss cheese wheels seemed to become a rarity .. in 5 bolt
Thank You Dr. You really answered my question. No wonder it took me a year to find a set of the 40 hole 5 lugs. They even got treated to a set of NOS wheel centers and 20 special wheel locks, Jer
thinking now the 5 lug swiss cheese wheels may have been an '85 only deal
can't say for certain if I ever saw 'em on an '86 when new..but I really don't think I did
and my buddy's 85 daytona turbo had 5 bolt pizza wheels - would have been swiss cheese 4 bolts if it were an 84
I found a set of the swiss cheese wheels in Nebraska -the guy wanted 4200 for the nice set in 4 lug but that wasn't what I
was in search of .

No those are the swiss cheese style but thank you
They also came on 84 and 85 Dodge 600 ES verts. for some reason E class cars did not switch to 5 lug in 85 like all of the other lines.
