    A555 to van shifter cables?

My 90 caravan has original shift cables, but they're for a different manual trans. One side takes a booger bushing and the other has a cup style clip? Can I find another set of cables that fits the same that will get rid of that cup style clip or is there a way to fix/replace this?

That looks like it's an A-555 setup. I think zip ties are the proper way to fix them. You could have some custom cables made to accept a regular bolt and modify the selector arm accordingly. The zip ties look to be the cheapest and easiest option though. I had a very similar setup on my old Omni for years.
