The 84 distributor is different from other years I’ve heard. How so? Is it strictly internal, or is it physically different as well?
84 and 85 turbo motors got the smaller diameter , taller distributor when compared to the 86 and after dist
they only work in 84/5 cars.. likewise the later fatter shorter distributors only work in the 86 and newer cars
if you like those sort of things there is/was an accell cap for the 84/5 but you can't get one for the 86 & after dist and it's tan coloured like mopar caps from the 60's and 70's
