    Gaskets

The other day I ordered a gasket kit from autozone for 50 bones just to see what it was all about why not.

This is an intake/exhaust manifold gasket from felpro and the one that came in the “kit”.

So I guess felpro supplies victor reinz but for the 50 bucks I figured to have a bunch of extra gaskets that seemed of decent quality never hurt. I will be using the intake/exhaust mani gasket seems a lot thicker then the blown out one that came off the car and I’ll be using the head gasket with some headbolts? What do you guys usually use?

I just thought I’d post this up for anyone looking for a decent gasket set (in my opinion) for a decent price (in my opinion).

The FP intake gaskets are good. Some people like the nes FB head gasket. I’ve never used one, I have a stack of Mopar head gaskets.

I’m gonna try out the head gasket it looks good it just has some extra holes compared to the MP gasket that I took off.

Rockauto usually has those sets for really cheap. Amazon generally does too. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Felpro gaskets, but I've recently seen that the Mopar gaskets can be had for less than $30.

    Re: Gaskets

It's not recommended to use a gasket on the int shaft seal retainer.

    Anaerobic sealer. Mopar prefered.

    Thanks
