Hi there I'm new to the forum, I'm currently putting together a 91 Daytona and I'm swapping it from a v6 to a 89 Daytona t1 engine into it. So if anyone has a harness that would work let me know. Thanks

It won't be easy to find, but the best option would be a 91 turbo engine harness.

You're probably looking for a unicorn here pal. Mother Mopar discontinued the 2.5L after '89 and went to the 3.0L far's I know. What's wrong with the '87-'88 or '89 2.5L? You're odds are way better in finding one in those years. I did a 2.5L to a 3.0L swap in an '89 GTC 'bout 10 years ago because I needed the 2.5L TI to get my '83 GT Scamp more peppy. I found a can of worms at every corner no matter which way I turned on that swap but that's another story. GL on your journey, Jer
no , there was a 91 (?) shelby daytona with a "high torque 2.5 engine" option .. rare cars though
not sure what this one is

to add there's a 92/93 specific common block that supposedly has more meat at the mains than earlier blocks too .. so they DID go past 89 with the 2.5 - for sure
You’re giving some incorrect info. The 2.5 turbo was available in the Dayton’s and the Lebaron until 1992. A wiring harness from a 91 Lebaron would probably be pretty close as well. Good luck they are out there. Keep in mind that there were big changes in 92 as well on the Daytona, so that harness wouldn’t do you much good either. I’m not sure how hard it would be to convert a harness from a 90 VNT but that’s an option as well. I think the easiest harness to find would be one from a 1990 turbo automatic Daytona. You would have to make some modifications if your car is a manual transmission, but that’s easy and well documented.
