    Which Walbro Installation kit?

What installation kit do I need for the spare 255lph pump that I have lying around? I can't seem to find the one with the proper sock and connector.

All fuel pump can make the work, but what kit you needs depends on what model of fuel pump you have and into what car.

I have the Gss 340 unit. I'll be putting it in an 86 Daytona.

I tried ordering a Walbro and installation kit from Chris last summer but he said that Walbro stopped making the “kits” for our cars. I already had installed so I got by with just the pump. Not sure if anything has changed.

I recently replaced just the hanger assembly with a Spectra unit. I assume he was referring to the parts necessary to modify the assembly to accommodate the Walbro. It’s been 20 years since I modified mine, so I’m a little fuzzy on what that entailed.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do.

Sock you can get from any local auto parts store.
Fuel line is 5/16 30R10. Auto parts store might have it or online.
Clamp is clamp, auto parts store will have it.
Terminal and connectors are just that. Wires, spade connectors and crimper is all you really need.

Or you can try to find the 400-633 kit.

I got the sock and fuel line from Amazon. I got the pigtail for the fuel pump from Amazon as well - Walbro 94-615 - if you don't want to use spades.

The hose that comes in the kit is short anyway, and I prefer fuel injection clamps (McMaster) to the crimp style that comes with the pump.

I had O-rings, and used an O-ring to replace the spacer where the pump meets the basket.

I was going to share a picture of my new hanger and pump, but I wasn't able to upload it and then I realized in looking at the picture that I left out the O-ring between the strainer and basket. Looks like I'm pulling it out yet again.

As a follow up, here is the response from the guys at TI Automotive.

We offer a complete kit for that vehicle, it can be found on our website here: https://aftermarket.tiautomotive.com...-applications/

The kit appears to the be GCA723 for the high flow performance version.

The install kit for the pump in that complete kit is the 400-842. We do not sell direct. Some online sellers that carry genuine product are Summit Racing, Lane Automotive, Titan Motorsports.
