    Smec board schematics

Does anyone have schematics or blueprints for smec control board? The (40 pin connector board). I broke what I believe is a capacitor right next to the 28 pin chip, and need to identify part number to replace it.

If it's the capacitor looking thing just below the chip, that's actually the thermistor for the computer to see the temp by the battery. I can say from experience that it isn't totally necessary for proper operation. Someone will most likely be along with proper replacement part shortly.

It is a NTC thermistor as Cordes states but we don't have a schematic available to know its exact value. I would guess it is a 6.8K from two rough measurement here in my lab. I am planning to work on a SMEC and SBEC reverse engineering project this winter.
