Well I’m on Facebook marketplace almost every night lol. It’s usually to goof off and pass the time, but when an opportunity presents itself…

I’ve definitely had my share of rust. In the northeast, you have to pick your poison. I found 3 different k cars with different levels of rust. If the floors are rotten in complex places, I don’t touch them - just not worth my time and effort. But if they are rusted in flat areas or in places where I can buy a patch panel, I go for it.

My blue reliant has surface rust on the door bottoms that can easy be sanded down and painted. The passenger side rocker needs to be replaced, but I found a rocker on eBay and is an easy replacement. It was a former “movie car”, so it wasnt driven in the snow too often.

My little Hobart Handler 140 has been a wonderful investment. It’s a must have up here in the northeast.

No problem. From what I hear with the carbed 2.2's..... remove the feedback carb and put a non feedback carb of a similar model on it.

I finally got the front bumper back on (i hated being that "no-bumper guy"). I put in some speed holes to help with getting air to the new intercooler. They look slightly skewed in this photo...but it's straighter than it looks lol.

The new-to-me ported head was purchased from jeff1234 from the For Sale section.

    Next Steps:
    1. Port the exhaust manifold
    2. Find a bigger turbo (Holset?)
    3. Save up for the forged pistons
