Need misc. parts to complete '89 TII rebuild - please help!

    Hey all,

I've been working on rebuilding my '89 Lancer Shelby and everything's ready to go, except for a few parts that I need to finish it up.

    Front motor mount bracket - Casting# 4348327

Forged 2.2l TII crank sprocket bolt - The mechanic I used to rebuild my short block LOST the crank sprocket bolt. I can't even describe how baffled I am at this.

Small oil pan bolt (near water pump area) - Again, the mechanic lost the one smaller oil pan bolt that goes near where the water pump mounts.

Turbo charge pipe/hose - A squirrel got to mine while the car was sitting

If anybody could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Can't finish putting my baby together without these parts. The link below should bring you to a photos album with images for reference.

If you need the lower intercooler hose in your photos, I have some. $75 each plus shipping.

I have a 1989 Lebaron 2.5L TI front mount, it is the updated mount assembly, matches the one I bought for my 1985 Lebaron TII conversion from Pomoco Chrysler - Plymouth in 2004 it has the same reinforcements mine has. Mine came with some special bolts that the instructions were very explicit about using. Cams, I was told when I was building my first TII setup (still have the same engine) that an NA cam will give more low end power. I may have the crank bolt, but have no way of matching it as my short block is a 1988 TII service block and is all by itself (square tooth belt and odd size 5 bolt crank pulley). If a 1989 2.5L TI is the same I have that bolt.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the bolts for the motor mount, it's just that the metal has cracked on mine and is no longer usable. I don't know if yours will be the same design or not, but I do have some pictures of my mount in the google photos album linked in my OP, along with the casting numbers too.

Can anyone confirm if an '89 2.5 TI uses the same crank sprocket bolt as an '89 2.2 TII?

    Bump!

Hoping having a new comment will get more eyes on this. Still looking for motor mount bracket and crank sprocket bolt. Probably going to call Chris and Cindy here soon to see if they have any connections for these parts too.

Appreciate anything you guys can do to help. Thanks!

I will see if I can get you some pictures of the mount. Today is our anniversary so it might be a couple of days. I know it has the reinforcements and may have the PN stamped on it.

Thank you for taking the time to do that! From what I can tell they look the same. I'm definitely interested in buying that mount off of you. How much would you want for it?

Figure $35 + shipping. Damn thing is discontinued and I have no idea what the new one I put on my 2.2L TII engine cost when I bought it. It was the updated mount 4419642.

And I figure you got yourself a deal. Really appreciate it! This means the only thing I need now is a crank bolt and I have everything to put good'ol Jango back together.

I'll PM you with my info so we can make the exchange.

I might have a crank bolt, if it is the same as the normal common block one.
