Those pulleys can sometimes be very hard to remove and replace. Other times they press on and off without too much difficulty. Sometimes you can distort them pressing them off! I once had to bring a pump over to a local starter/alternator shop to pneumatically press off. It came off, but bent up the ears on the pump pulley. All I can say is good luck!

I thought I had an extra Chrysler pulley for a Saginaw, but yesterday when I looked I have one with a pulley, one with no pulley and one for a Ford E-series with serpentine belt.

    Hey Andrew,
The pulley puller tool is not very expensive probably less than $25. Your best bet is maybe buying the tool and removing one or two at the salvage yard.
If you end up getting a rebuilt pump, it looks like they're not coming with pulleys either, so that may not help you.

Should you decide to rebuild your own, make sure you buy the kit that includes the shaft bushing. You would need a bushing driver to drive bushing out. These puppies typically leak because the shaft bushing is severely worn. This is caused from running too tight of belt tension. This in turn takes out the shaft seal. Then the chain of events happens and you have a leaky pump.

BTW the only difference in the firm feel pumps and the regular high assist pumps are the high pressure restrictor. That is the part the high pressure hose screws into. Accessible from the outside of pump. EZ to change out.

Other than the circumference changing maybe ? Cannot see why it should not fit right up, it is only listed for 1990 and newer.
