    Comp pkg Shadow VNT

Just got a blast from the past as I received a letter my old Shadow is in the impound lot and I'm the last registered owner.

Anyone interested in it? I can probably go rescue it but not sure what shape it is in.

    Black 1990.

When I sold it close to 15 years ago, it had Eibachs and Koni struts, VNT to S60 conversion, 523 trans and painted crab wheels w/o a motor.

I still have the block and 568.

If you had some pictures and and idea of if it ran or not, I would highly consider coming out to get the car if the price is reasonable. Was it rusty when you last saw it? I'm really only interested in a completely solid car. I know you haven't seen it in a long time, but if it was rusty then, I wouldn't want to waste your time.

Here's some pics within 6 months or so before selling it. There was some rust starting in the rear wheel wells and a little on the lip of the hatch if I recall.

If it isn't too much trouble, I would love to know what the car looks like and if it runs. Thanks a ton for posting this up either way. That's a super rare car and I have always wanted one.

Went down to the impound lot, but they wouldn't let me look at the car. I'll see where I can get with the other contact info in the letter which I emailed and called yesterday but didn't get a response.

I agree, would be nice to see if car is worth the trouble or just a shell.

That's pretty crazy. Good luck. I would be very frustrated with that situation.

FYI, no real information to share as of yet other than the workers there are less than helpful.

Finally got a pic and a call back. Hood and bumper are missing, as well as axles and front tires. Still no motor I think but couldn't see for sure and the windshield is cracked.

It looks like it's just a little weathered from sitting but not much different since I sold it. I can't get it from the impound but will see if I can track it down after.

Thanks so much for following up. That's certainly more than I can handle at this time, but I sure hope someone saves it. This would be the second 90 comp. package car parted out in the last few years that I'm aware of. They're getting very scarce.

I understand and no problem. Also found out that the guy came in with the car, I bet he lost the bill of sale or something.

It was still there yesterday, going to do drive by again today.

I probably wouldn't have ever sold it if it wasn't for having a GTC-VNT as well.
