I need to remove an O2 sensor on my CSX 2.5 TII and noticed the lack of room vs my 87 TI. I have been spraying with deep creep for the last three days.
What is the best way to remove from a TII? from the bottom? remove the PS pump?

Remove head Good luck.
I have a socket which will take a 3/8" drive ratchet. It sounds crazy, but I've been able to get them with this method from atop the car. I can get my hand by the PS pump and everything. I can also get the ratchet back there and get it loose generally. If that fails, I can attempt from under the car with a 3/8" breaker bar. All else fails, the socket also has a 1" hex on it and I use a long pattern Mac wrench on it. Now, in the worst case scenario, I'll use heat, cut the wires and use the 7/8(?)" wrench to give it the final go. I haven't had to pull the head yet. That said, with equal length axles in there you have much less room to operate under the car.
I was just kidding about pulling the head a bit. Though it'd probably be easier. I've always just cut the wires and threw a real wrench on it from underneath then used a second wrench to make it longer a pried for all my might. Going wideband I plugged that stupid hole and have my wideband at the 1st small bend about 6" from the donut. So much easier to get in and out of that location if need be.
i smash the end of the sensor off with a hammer/piece of pipe/improvised weapon from the wheel well.
then i use a 7/8 short socket with a ratchet and a pipe.
on my reliant, i use so much antisieze that i can take the sensor out with a short 7/8 open end wrench.

I've got high hopes for you if it was out four years ago.

My formerly high hopes have been dashed. Best of luck getting it off without breakage. You may want to try some heat first.
Heated with Oxy/MAPP to orange, No luck with any 3/8" stuff even tried a 18" 1/2 ratchet. No luck today
I decided to rewire so the SBEC will accept a three wire O2 sensor. It works for now. I guess I will wait until I install my 3" SV before I try again.
Thanks everyone for the ideas.
