    Megasquirt TIII coil control

    Hi all,
have a TIII for the reliant swap but no electronics or harness, so since I already have a MSII from a previous turbo mustang build I was considering squirting the TIII. I’m pretty good with the wiring and tuning aspects of megasquirt in general and had the Windsor engine in the mustang running EDIS for coil pack control with the MS. What have you guys done with the coil control for the TIII? Should I just look for an EDIS4 module and go that route or is there another way to control the coil pack directly on these engines? Thanks

Are you waiting to use wasted spark or COP?

There are way better things to use the EDIS4, skip it.

I used a quadspark and 420A coil with my Microsquirt.

I’m not familiar with the quad spark. Would I be able to use it in conjunction with the stock TIII coil? Im not opposed to going COP either but trying to see what’s a relatively simple method. Not shooting for the moon power wise on this one. Maybe 350-375hp.

Yes, you can use quadspark with your TIII coil.
