Wheel lug nut stud 12mm vs 14mm

Something I’d not thought of before. Looking at a nice set of used 5x100 wheels and while looking up offset and all kinds other dimensions I noticed that 14x1.5 was mentioned. Our FWD cars use 12x1.5 thread studs. So the hole is gonna be larger. Is that an issue?

Depending on how the wheel is cut and how the lug nuts are shaped, the difference in area could be negligible. I would want to inspect the fit closely though.
