There is no logical reason to call an Engine a motor.

But the 87 Shelby Charger T-2 is same as 86, or 1988?
The only substitute for cubic inches is cubic dollars, how fast can you afford to go?

The 87 GLHS with the TII had GLHS electronics. I believe those were all "modified" TI LMs. All of the TI Shelby Chargers were carry over 86 TI electronics. Even if they got the 87 boards, they still had the MAP sensor in the kick panel, rather than under the hood.

    Edited for clarity.

87 GLHS still had the 86 style 2 chip boards.

i thought they had 86 pinout LM's as well.

all the other non-L-Body cars got actual 87 LM's.

if you do have an 87 GLHS LM.....

I believe you're correct that they were 86LMs and 86 wiring still. That's why you only have to add the two wires for a GLHS electronics swap in a TI car.
