    No fuel/spark with emulator.

Having a problem with my emulator. Cable looks to be installed correctly. The lap top and the emulator are talking to race other. Still no fuel or spark. Swapped the stock 88 smec back into the car and it fired right up. Looking for any advice.

    Is it an ostrich?

Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on?

Do you have a chip burner and did you try a chip rather than the emulator?

Also, I know some folks had issues if the USB cable for an ostrich wasn't receiving USB power.

I heard of some using a USB phone charger to power the ostrich and it worked.

Also, did you use their utility to flash a tune to the correct memory location for that vehicle?

Yes, no, going to pick up a working chip today to try. I'm using the cable they sent me. I'm using the emu program to
put the tune in the eo. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to answer the last question. I can copy the bin file to the eo. If I try the on the fly tuning, the eo beeps like it accepts the tune but nothing changes.

If it's an ostrich, mptune will recognize it natively and flash it without a fuss.

What ECU? Smec? Smec the chip notch/red stripe on the ribbon cable/pin 1 points towards the middle of the board.

Tried flashing it that way. Still nothing. I can't see the notch on socket. I've tried facing the red striped toward the center and flipping it over the basement the other direction no luck
